2026 CSA season is open
Picked Tuesday.On your table Thursday.
Twelve acres outside Petaluma. Harvested to order, driven to your pickup point, eaten before the week is out.
What's in season
We pack what thefield gives that week.
No fixed catalogue, no substitutions from a warehouse. The share is whatever came out of the ground on Tuesday, in the quantity your box size buys.
Six to twenty varieties
Leaves and roots early, tomatoes and beans through August, squash and brassicas to the first frost.
Cut the morning before
Nothing is harvested to sit. The crew picks against Wednesday's pack list, not against a forecast.
One pickup, one week
Collect Thursday at the barn or one of two town points, or take home delivery on the larger two shares.
Since 2020
Half an acre,a truck and a list.
We started with eleven families and a hand-written pack sheet taped to the barn door. The sheet is a spreadsheet now and the truck is on its second engine, but the arrangement has not changed: you pay for the season, we grow against your list.
Cropfare is a working market garden on the Petaluma side of the Sonoma line.

Member notes
The people whoeat the field.
I stopped meal-planning around the supermarket. The box lands Thursday and we cook whatever turned up — better food, almost no waste.

My kids will eat anything they helped unpack. Kohlrabi, garlic scapes, things I would never have bought — dinner turned into a game.

Two seasons in and I still get a text when the first tomatoes are close. That is not a delivery service, that is a neighbour.

The season closeswhen shares run out.
We only sell what we can grow. Once the shares are gone the list opens again in February.
